Hi thought I read something way back about certain hotels you can stay at in Miami where you can check in for your carnival cruise? Am I crazy or just hopeful? We get to stay at Holiday inn hotels and Hilton Brand hotels for free so just let me know thanks!

Well I know that the various cruise lines set up shop at the Sheraton Biscayne Bay, not all that far (a short cab ride) from the Holiday Inn Marina Park, right across the way from Bayside Marketplace downtown. You don't have to stay there either, just show up with your docs and they'll do the pre-check.

But I'd surely go online if you haven't yet and complete the information that will let you print a FunPass. That, combined with showing up at the port early along with your proper ID and method of payment for onboard charges will assure you get on the ship asap.
