Kauai: Discover Jungle Falls VS Hidden Valley Falls Kayak

Help! I'd like to take a kayak and water fall excursion in Kauai. Does anyone know which of these excursions is the best? Both are options on my NCL Aloha cruise.

 

Also, what's the absolute best Snorkeling tour to take...if any?

Good luck getting an answer. I tried to find out the same information and didn't really find anyone out there that could help. We going on Aug 27 on the POH. We are doing the Discover Jungle Falls.

 

I did some quering on the Hawaii board and found that the Discover jungle falls didn't include as much hiking, it is more of a kayak trip, you get to swim in the falls and it includes lunch. The Hidden Falls has more hiking, no swimming in the falls, only stop for pictures, it does not include lunch only a snack and it costs a little more.

Thanks so much for the info! I'll probably choose the same kayak trip as you since I'd rather kayak and swim than hike! I live in Colorado so I already get to do lots of hiking. I'm going on the POA on 8/19......yippee!!

Hello...we're going on the POA next July. We like to book our excursions through NCL. What do you suggest? The Kayak or the surfing in Kauai? We're in our 50's and 60's. Thank you!:)

I've heard the best snorkeling is at Kona. We've opted for the SeaQuest excursion but check out the excursion websites from the attached list. I believe previous posters indicated that snorkeling at Kealakekua Bay (Capt. Cook Monument) is the best location to go.
