Does anyone have any information on scuba diving operators in the Med? We are cruising the Carnival Freedom August 5th and

our itinerary includes Rome, Naples, Rhodes, Katakalon, Izmir, Athens, and Istanbul. Please let me know. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do a search on this board using scuba diving in the Med in the search box as this question has been brought up before and there are threads reagrding it..not sure of the replies though.You could also Google it.

I did a search and couldnt find anything for the destinations I am going to ...I also googled and asked a few independent operators but I don't know where the ships dock once they reach the destination, so they don't know where to meet me...Anyone else that has actually gone scuba diving on the same itinerary for Carnival Freedom?

Let me say that since you are having trouble finding info re scuba diving...it would be my best guess that Rhodes may be your best bet..possible if you went to Capri from Naples,but this is just a guess.Have you cruised the Med before or are you a Carib cruiser? I ask this only to say that I think diving when you are in a port for the day maybe hard due to where the port/city is in relation to clean clear water.Maybe someone will post,but there is not a lot re scuba diving that I have seen on these boards.Good luck and have a great cruise no matter what you end up doing.

I found the following two operators in Rhodes: Waterhoppers and Dive Med College...Has anyone used either?

Anyone have information on the name of the Rhodes port that the Carnival ship would dock?

We will be in the Freedom during the same time. We have been trying to figure out what we want to do on Rhodes...and had thought about diving there. If you find out any information please post it!
