Leaving from Miami...how much time between flights/boarding?

I am looking into a cruise leaving from Miami in Feb. The ship leaves at 4pm and gets back in at 6am. I refuse to pay for cruiseline airfare, so I'll be booking my own flights. How long does it take to get back and forth from the airport to the port? Any reccomendations on times to get in to/leave Miami? Thanks!

now .... no gaurantees.......... but we have more than once made a 1000am flt after 911 ........... carry off luggage , either grab a taxi or have car service pre-arranged.............. and say a prayer ! ;)
