Embarkation and the NEW wine/champagne policy.....

.....I've searched the forum and read about a dozen threads on the above, but I have not read about anyone bringing more than one bottle per person on board and having them confiscated during embarkation.

 

Has anyone had extra bottles confiscated?

 

Inquiring fine wine/champagne enthusiasts want to know!

Last cruise my DH and I had 2 bottles each - the security (not Carnival uniformed) gave us a hard time and caused a line to form behind us.

 

After a little sweet talking they finally slapped our hands and let us through.

 

Once we were throught the initial security no one else even thought about looking in or at our bags.
