Venice hotel suggestions for pre-Orchestra Cruise?

We are sailing on the Orchestra on Oct.20, 2007. We are a family of four, children ages 16 and 10. I look forward to hearing from any other families cruising that week! Could anyone suggest a family friendly, moderately priced hotel for the nights before and after the cruise? I know we will most likely need two hotel rooms as there are four of us.

Hi codytn! We are also a family of four on the same cruise. We too are staying overnight in venice a short distance from the port in frari apartments big enough for a family of four with two bedrooms. Hopefully this information reaches you in good time. Our booking was through laterooms.com
