Tenders half moon cay

Recommended Posts

Could someone tell me how big the tender boats are. I am cruising with someone who is doing good to get on the ship let alone a tender boat. So if someone could give me an idea of the size of the tender boat I would sure appreciate it. We do not want to miss HMC but I am not going to leave her behind while we go.

Thanks Gina

I am guessing the tender boats holds maybe

75 to 100 people,,,,,,,,,,

The ship crew is real helpful helping those that

need alittle extra help getting on the tender...........

Sometimes, the tender can be alittle rocky............

The tenders can rock up and down........

You have to be real careful when stepping from

the ship to the tender........

Thats where the crew is gooood.........

The tenders are about 65 feet long, more or less. They are about the size of the Shepler or Star Line ferries to Mackinac Island. They are quite stable and reasonably fast.

I too was afraid of the tenders, but they are actually quite big/spacious and stable, we were at Half Moon last year, and the ride is less then a few mins...

The only way I can discribe it is like a very big pontoon boat..

I hope that helps, I have some pics also .....
