Car rental: Andys or Avis?

We are going to rent a car when we arrive on Grand Cayman at Georgetown. However, I thought I remember seeing a car rental place right near where we disembark from the ships. I remember seeing a picture of a colourful building with the cruise ship in the background. I thought that was Andy's.

But, their website says they have 2 locations: Airport and 7 Mile Beach.

Anyone know?

If we have to catch a shuttle to the car rental place at the airport, I might as well go with Avis, since I hear they have the best maps.

Anyone rented a car recently, and was there a rental agency at the ships (within a few blocks, anyways)?

I just imagine getting off the ship and getting in line to catch the avis shuttle to the airport to get a car... I'd rather not unless I have to.

Anyone who has done it and can share your experience is greatly appreciated.

We rented with Avis on GC. They tell you to go the the Blue Iguana shop and they call a shuttle for you. The shop is right across the street from the cruise dock. You do have to go to the airport to pick up the car. It's a short 5 min ride.

I've not seen car rentals at the dock before and I don't know about Andy's.

I rented a car from Andy's for my upcoming cruise. They are very efficient with a confirmation and it says that you call them when you dock and they will come pick you up to bring you to the 7-mile beach location.

Sounds easy to me!
