Beach area for the day with island music?

We would like to go to a beach that offers some type of island music. Does anyone know if the Wyndam, Hilton or any other hotels offer this? Nothing like having your drink pool or beach side with some steel drums playing in the back round.

Sorry to say.. you won't find this in Nassau. Wyndham pipes in hip hop, Atlantis play US music and the only Steel drums you're likely to hear is on the dock.

 

Hilton has a local band midday on weekends.. but that's about it.

 

Unfortunately, the hotels cater to the american crowd that thinks Senor Frogs is "da Bomb"

Actually, I was at the Wyndham in June and they had live music under the cabana where the food is served. (next to the pool)

 

We had a great time.

Hey Julie. Do you know what day of the week that might have been? I think I read that they do have music on weekends. We will be there on a Wednesday.

 

Also, did you notice if there was any place to get a massage?
