We all hope she will pass to the south. There will probably be some wet weather (and bumpy seas?) from this tropical storm in the islands. Status:

I saw this message and thought I'd reply. I'm a mom of a cruise member and am trying to get some feedback on the conditions that you're experiencing. I noticed that the itinerary was changed to stay at sea today instead of going to shore in Hilo. Is the water calm where you are? I everyone calm? Thanks for any info!

Amy, I hope that onboard the ship they gave you enough advance warning of cancelling the Hilo port stop for you to change any plans you'd booked off the ship. The ship should "weather the storm" fine at sea (it's the safest place for a ship during high seas/rough weather), but I expect you will have an interesting story to tell on your return!
