Suesancy Posted August 15, 2007 #1 Share Posted August 15, 2007 We are booked on Sea Princess 8th March 2008 and have requested 2nd Sitting Dining which is our preference, and have also asked for a table for two. We are booked into a minisuite. I have just found out we are No.38 on the waitlist. Does anyone with any experience of these matters know what kind of chance we have to get our choice? The table for two is a long shot I am sure, but the 2nd sitting dining is quite important to us and we would rather change to anytime dining than have 1st sitting. Thanks for your help, No. 38 is not that high. I would think you should clear the waitlist from that number. We have cleared from much higher three digit numbers. Just in case you do not clear, you will be assigned Anytime rather than Early Traditional. We are Late Traditionalists also, and the one time we did not get it we were assigned Anytime. We liked our wait staff the first night of Anytime and just made a standing Anhytime reservation for the rest of the cruise. I have heard sometime the wait staff may not accept it, but ours was for 8pm which is not a rush hour time. Have a great cruise. :D
San Diego Ellie Posted August 15, 2007 #3 Share Posted August 15, 2007 You will most certainly get the dining you want. Check your "cruise personalizer" in "My Princess" frequently and you will be amazed at how fast you move up. We booked a SA cruise for February just a month ago, and had a much higher wait list number than you. It moves every few days, and we are now #8. My TA said that even numbers over 100 usually clear.
