snorkel advice

We will be in Key West on the first day of our 7 day cruise (in November). Usually we snorkel at every one of our stops but this cruise seems to be mostly ruins, tubing, touring. I would skip the snorkel altogether but my daughter is bringing a friend who has never snorkeled so we have to do it. Therefore, Key West is our only option. I contacted Fury but they recommended booking through the cruiseline since the cruiseline gets priority. I checked out HAL's website & no snorkel tour is offered. Does anyone have any suggestions? Also, how cold would the water be at that time? Since we dock at 11:30AM, it would have to be an afternoon tour. Thanks!

Never been to Key West but I had a comment about HAL. We sailed the Med with them and no scuba or snorkle tours on that cruise either. We booked our own dives in Malta. Anyway, perhap it is a HAL thing to NOT offer these water activities? Perhaps the cruise director, or whatever the Entertainment people are called, could make a referral?
