coffee39 Posted August 16, 2007 #1 Share Posted August 16, 2007 Can anyone tell me what sort of price difference would there be between booking a specific cabin (B6190) and booking a category S guarantee? Also wondering when you book a guarantee can you specify "port" or do you just pick category?
hammybee Posted August 16, 2007 #2 Share Posted August 16, 2007 B6190 is a veranda cabin while those in the "S" cat. are deluxe suites. The deluxe suite is a larger cabin and comes with all the privledges and perks of Suite life, including, but not limited to use of the Neptune Lounge, breakfast in the Pinnacle Grill and complementary laundry and pressing. When booking a guarantee, your preferences do not matter. You take what HAL gives you. So if you have your heart set on a particular location, you are better off booking the cabin you want instead of leaving it to chance.
grannynurse Posted August 16, 2007 #3 Share Posted August 16, 2007 There can be several thousand dollars difference in booking an S suite over a category B but it depends on the length of the cruise. The 15 day Zaandam Hawaii in an S suite is obviously much more expensive than a 7 day but it's at least $1000 pp between the categories even on a 7 day cruise.
