JUST WONDERING: When do your kids start school? Before of after Labor Day???

I also like and prefer the year-round school schedule, with the vacation flexibility it offers versus a 10-month school year and its long summer vacation. Unfortunately, I think many teachers and school workers prefer the 10-month school year and their two months off each summer.

Hum, funny, my principal said she wishes we could go to year round schooling for better vacations/less academic skills loss, but she said it would be highly unlikely our district will ever see it while she principal (aka distric obviously not all in favor) But I tend to wonder how parent do the vacation home...I suppose it is most like having plans for kids for summer...

kids started back Aug 15th this year
