Mercure Simson Beach hotel your opinions please

My husband has been wanting to go to St. Martin for years.

 

So first - do you recommend it?

2nd anyone got thoughts on Mercure Simson Beach hotel which seems to be coming up on adverts all the time in my area so I wondered?

It's odd that they call themselves "Simpson Beach..." when they are not on Simpson Beach which is on the Dutch side. They are located on the French side on Baie Nettle at Marigot.

 

Although I have not stayed at that property, it's not one that I would consider.
