has anyone purchased from Cartier at St. Martin and have any idea how prices compare to US..Are they open to negotiating or is the price tag the price, thanks,

As i said we didn't visit Cartier but we visited Tiffanys on St. Maarten & St. Thomas. We found beautiful well displayed inventory, the best air conditioning, helpful salepeople, well dressed & well equipped guards, good bottled water & expensive prices. All in all not a whole lot different from Tiffanys in San francisco, aside from the air conditioning. I suspect Cartier is the same & Gucci. Good luck.

My husband bought a Roadster watch from Cartier in the islands and received about a 10-15% discount off suggested retail. The store was very nice, the sales people very professional, the watch beautiful. I believe they also threw in an extra (non metalic) band.

We bought our daughter the cartier ribbon bracelet with the charm on Grand Cayman and there was no discount.
