As with anything, if you know exactly what you want and the going rate for it elsewhere you can find deals.

 

I picked up a set of Scubapro regs for technical diving from our local Divers Supply for the same price as I could find them on the internet. That saved me the cost of shipping and duty - no small amount. And since they are an authorized vendor the regs came under the full lifetime parts warranty that would not have been offered by the internet merchant.

I got a Scubapro .5mm suit for way less than the price in the UK (my home) but other things cost a lot more.
