picruiser Posted August 24, 2004 #1 Share Posted August 24, 2004 I know that some of the cruise lines offer a day at a hotel, pool, restaurant, etc. for those whose flights are later in the day. Does Carnival do this? We're not flying out until after 6pm post cruise, and would like to spend the day someplace where we can leave our luggage and hang out at the pool or beach. Is there anything like that out there? Any suggestions? Thanks, Sonia
hill6 Posted August 24, 2004 #2 Share Posted August 24, 2004 I would call Carnival about that to see. I dont know of any but there are plenty of hotels right there at the port. One nice one is the Radisson. The pool there is great.

My mom and I have late flights home, too, but have decided to rent a car for the day instead. We figure we can either find a public beach or hang out in Orlando. The rental is only $40 (much cheaper than excursions for 2) and they have a shuttle at the port. Our luggage will be tossed in the trunk and we can spend the day on our own schedule. GOTTA CRUISE NOW Posted August 25, 2004 #4 Share Posted August 25, 2004 Must agree with hill6. Enjoyed the pool & hot tub @ the Radisson! They also have a shuttle from the Cruise Terminal.
