Lines at Paradise Point Skyride?

I'll be in St. Thomas next Monday with Carnival. My shore excursion doesn't leave until 11:30am. I'd like to go up to Paradise Point before the shore excursion but I'm worried about running into a huge (1+ hour) line to come back down. Any past riders- how long are the lines to come back down mid-morning? How about to go up- is there any wait between 9-10am? Thanks in advance for your feedback.

When we were there in March, we just walked there from the pier, and there was no wait at all. It's beautiful from up at the top. We had a couple of drinks, and it wasn't busy at all.

I just got back from my cruise. There were no lines at all.

We were up there this past January. No lines going up. No lines going down. Make sure you get your picture taken with the Parrots at the top. They'll make you laugh.
