Vancouver - Suites Suggestiions?

We are doing a 1 day pre cruise stay in Vancouver prior to departing on the Serenade of the Seas. We are staying first in Seattle then traveling via AMTRAK to Vancouver. Would like to find a reasonably priced suite with washer & dryer in downtown Vancouver area. We will have 4 people and main priority is that W/D.

 

Reading the boards, I have found references to Sutton Place Suites and Times Square Suites. Can anybody comment on these 2 places? Which would you choose? Any other suggestions?

I stayed at Times Square a couple of weeks ago. Good location, friendly staff. Apartments are not huge, and 'balcony' is so small as to be unusable. Comes with washer and dryer. Lots of restaurants nearby. There was a Safeways across the street but it was about to close down when we were there. 5 min walk to Stanlry Park and on or near many bus routes.

Thanks - we will check them out further. Did you see anyone renting bikes for ride in Stanley Park? We are interested & would like to have anyones imput.

Yes lots of bike rental places along Denman St very near Times Square. Also a free shuttle goes around the park.

We also had a fabulous stay at Times Square Suites after our cruise in early August. We felt so fortunate to have found it, and the staff and accomodations were superb!
