How long of a Snorkel/Stingray trip should I take?

I will be traveling on the Valor Jan. 6 but I am trying to go ahead and book my Excursions to get everything paid for ahead of time. I know what I want to do at each stop but I want to know how long of an excursion should I take on the Stingray/Snorkel Tour?

 

I am booking through ShoreTrips and they offer 2.5hr., 3hr., 4hr., and 6hr. excursions. I want enough time after the excursion to go to 7 Mile Beach but I also want the total experience of GC's Stingray Tour, which I hear is unbelievable!! Please give me some insite and recommendations on this. Thank you!!:)

We used Moby Dick for our combo snorkel/Stingray Tour. We left the dock at 9:30 and returned at 1:00. To get the best experience, I would not recommend any shorter time frame.
