Flying into Ft. Lauderdale and boarding in Miami

We will be cruising next summer and more than likely will fly into Ft. Lauderdale and I was wondering what are your suggestions on getting to Miami. We are a party of 8.

There is a shuttle van right outside of the baggage claim in FLL for 18$ per person. But we 8 it might be more economical to rent a van or a couple of cars for transport. Many of the rental companies have shuttle buses that take you to the port. You also could look into a limo, though I don't have any names for you.
