Biplane rides

When we were on Key West in May we saw a biplane go over. I just read about the biplane rides on the Key West feature. Anyone know about this?

If you go to keywest.com and look under the attractions there is a company listed. We are not big on heights so I haven't done it, but it does look fun.

The drawback is that you have to take a cab to the airport which is on the other side of the island to go up in the plane. Then take a cab back.

When you said that I 2bl checked. This used to be $50.00 pp for 30 minutes, then a few years ago it was raised to $60.00. They used to fly over the north side in the afternoon with the cost and telephone number painted underneath the wing.

 

Who'd a thunk?

True that it is expensive, but most of that cost is maybe fuel and insurance and you want them to have both of those. Plus it is a once in a lifetime kind of thing. Helicopter tours are usually quite dear to fly over my town during the fall fair and those are really short. Good luck deciding, we are just going to walk down to the southern most point and maybe see the butterfly conservatory and the lighthouse.
