Jake's Mom Posted September 6, 2007 #1 Share Posted September 6, 2007 Has anyone stayed in an oceanview cabin on deck 3, I've never stayed on a deck that low before and I was just wondering about noise and/or motion. I'm looking for a cabin that would accomodate three people comfortably. Anyone traveling with children, what do you normally book?
robtulipe Posted September 6, 2007 #2 Share Posted September 6, 2007 The best cabins as to lack of motion is in the middle and close to the water line thus a deck three cabin in the center of the ship would be good in this respect. You also have cabins below you on deck two so shouldn't have engine/thruster noise but there are bars/lounges on deck four above most of the deck three cabins. I would tend to book on a higher deck (7 or higher). We had a deck 6 PR cabin over the pub on Adventure and you could hear the entertainer in the evening. On Voyager we had a deck 9 inside towards the middle and it was quiet and calm for our Canadian Maritimes cruise.
cruisingbooboo Posted September 7, 2007 #3 Share Posted September 7, 2007 I've been on deck 3 many times. As long as you are in the middle of the ship you are fine. Note: try not to get a cabin near the gangway, it is noisey and busy.Walking up the stairs to the pool from your deck 3 cabin helps w/ weigh gain :)
