How Should I Upgrade?

I've decided to try the Princess Grill next time, however, for a single traveller one has to pay nearly double the fare, as they have no single cabins on QM2. I'm finding Brittania seems to have become a little rough around the edges lately, so I'd like to upgrade (cabins are becoming worn, and I have been seated with guests with whom I have little in common, unlike previous crossings---which can be fun sometimes, if you have at least a mix of people). However, the AA category has fewer advantages and is only about $1000. cheaper. I wish there were a mid-category between the low price of Brittania and Princess Grill, which is roughly 3 times the rate.

Has anyone here compared the AA (Brittania Club) category with the Princess Grill, and what do you think?

Thanks.

Katya

You're right, and usually you have to give people a chance. I have found myself wrong before, and people with whom I thought I had little in common, I have discovered have been wonderful tablemates. There's not much time to get to know people in 5 or 6 days. But I know I have to learn that you really can't make snap judgments based on first impressions.

Also, we all have something in common, if only our humanity. Besides, all people are fascinating in one way or another.
