SEA to Vancouver-Fly or Drive?

Recommended Posts

Flying or Driving from Seattle airport to Vancouver in late May 2008? Driving is cheaper but I was wondering about the time, the hastle with construction and border crossing. I was also wondering about the cost of transportation from the Vancouver airport to our hotel on Robson St. Any imput would be appreciated.

Thanks. :)

Next yr the border should be almost normal (but still busy)

Flying time is nothing but getting through both airports is a pain.

Drive/Fly = still doing customs, immigration and security

Allow 40-50 bucks for one way limo or taxi from the airport unless you do a airporter/shuttle and it's fixed this year at around 14 bucks each way

Train. Quick clearance for the border. Reasonable price.

Yes.. I agree and only about a $10.00 cab ride anywhere downtown. But train only goes North at 7:40 and South at 6 PM once a day. They are talking about twice daily for next yr however.
