assignment of GTY room

I booked an inside room for a "weekend cruise to nowhere" for this December, and I notice I have already been assigned a room... and it's an ocean view. (I found this info on the NCL website, under "my cruises")

 

So, my question is, now that NCL has assigned this cabin to me, they won't change it will they?? I thought they didn't assign the GTY rooms until the day of the cruise, but now that I know the cabin #, I'm focused on that being my cabin. :D

Congrats, you got an upgrade. If they are showing a cabin assignment then you are probably done. GTY assignments can be made in advance if they need your lower catagory to be open in order to sell more space.

We had a GTY room assigned two weeks before the cruise, then they switched us, to an even BETTER room when we got to the ship. We book GTY's all the time, and this has only happened to us once..........

Usually- once they assign it-- it doesn't change- unless like mentioned before- they upgrade you again! Once we were upgraded to oceanview-then it disappeared to no assignment.... we called, and they put us in a different oceanview-- it was still all good!:D
