Jimmers Posted November 18, 2007 #51 Share Posted November 18, 2007 The weight limit flucuates depending on wind and moisture conditions. I think they probably judge your weight by eye and if they think you're over bring the scale out to confirm it. Sorry to see they raised the price to $80. Originally they had promised to raise it to $90. Guess they reconsidered. Jimmers
VAHockeymom Posted November 26, 2007 #52 Share Posted November 26, 2007 We (my family with 9 people) just did this last week and although I know it's expensive, it was worth every penny. It was really a once in a lifetime experience and the best view I've ever seen! If you're a thrill junkie like my DH then this is really your thing. I'm not into that and still loved it...so that's all I can offer. As to the weight, it depends on the wind conditions at the time. We were told that it typically gets windy in the late morning going into the afternoon so you may want to schedule one of the first morning runs. Have fun!
