Privateer Posted September 12, 2007 #1 Share Posted September 12, 2007 Taking a late November cruise (Enchantment) and am looking to book some dive trips in Cozumel and Belize, has anyone had experience with: Booking through RCL? Dive operators used (such as Aldora Divers in Cozumel)? I will be brining my gear (as will DW) – are the tanks Yoke or DIN? Any other information or stories …. Thanks, Privateer “aka – Mike”
bruce-r Posted September 13, 2007 #2 Share Posted September 13, 2007 Taking a late November cruise (Enchantment) and am looking to book some dive trips in Cozumel and Belize, has anyone had experience with: Booking through RCL? No experience, but they are likely to use Sand Dollar Sports. Large boats, large groups of divers going to easy sites with predetermined bottom times. Dive operators used (such as Aldora Divers in Cozumel)? They use large 100 ft. and 120 ft. steel tanks, small boats and let you dive your computer. I will be brining my gear (as will DW) – are the tanks Yoke or DIN?Only the operators who use the large steel tanks will have DIN valves. Some of those operators are: Aldora, Liquid Blue (excellent choice), and Living Underwater (also highly rated). All the operators that use the standard 80 ft AL tanks have yoke valves. booth22 Posted September 13, 2007 #3 Share Posted September 13, 2007 I'll toss out a vote for Eagle Ray Divers... we had a blast with them on our cruise. Small fast boats, only 3 of us in the boat.. memories!
