Roll Away Beds

The wife has booked with some girlfreinds, it looks like one will have a roll away. Are they comfortable? We have been in a room with a fold down bunk for the kid (7yo), but are a little concerned about the roll away thing. Should they try and switch?

The roll away is not bad, I would take it over the pull down, just make sure you ask your Steward to remove it during the day so you have room to walk around the cabin.

in some case now it's a floor cot with mattres.......my son had one on the Triumph. The sheets were turned down in the evening and it was placed under the bed during the daytime hours to increase space.

I slept on a rollaway on my last cruise with my two kids ...

they got the beds

and I slept next to my daughter .

 

I was very comfortable on the rollaway... believe it or not...

 

we did leave it in the room ,

as we didnt spend much time in there anyways ...

My son had a roll-a-way bed. It was actually quite comfortable. As a matter of fact, the sofa bed was not bad either. I think that they are upgrade from the "normal" stuff we all imagine.
