Fort Lauderdale Hotels

We will be going on our first cruise in April and also our first stay in Fort Lauderdale or surrounding area.

 

We would like to stay in a nice hotel, not sure where the best hotels are located, we are a family of 5 plus 2 grandparents so would like 2 rooms at least.

 

Is beach area best? either restaurant within hotel or walking distance? we will arrive late on a Wednesday and depart on a Friday so what is there to do in Fort Lauderdale?

There is a lot of information there. You also might want to do a bit of research at tripadvisor.com after you have narrowed down your choice of hotels.

They are all pretty good. I prefer Hyatt Pier 66. I will be there again next week. I have heard some hit or miss tales, but I never seemed to have a problem.
