7 night W Caribbean on Enchantment - Formal Nights & Ports of Call

Recommended Posts

Has anyone come off the Western Caribbean 7 night cruise recently? I am wondering what are the formal nights and if anyone remembers what the menus were like in the dining room. We are traveling with 3 kids and are wondering if the Windjammer would be better for us.

Also with the recent Hurricanes, how were the ports of call?

Labadee, Montego Bay, Grand Cayman and Cozumel? Any excursion suggestions?

Thanks so much in advance!

Hi--

I just got off the Enchantment on Saturday. Ours was a 5 nighter to Key West, Cozumel and Coco Cay so I can only comment on Cozumel for you.

Cozumel was beautiful and by far our favorite port. We chose an excursion through Island Marketing (there is a website). We went to a private beach called Nachi Cocum. We LOVED this place, it was like heaven!!!! Like I said it is a private beach so no crowds at all and they only allow 100 people per day but when we went there was maybe 25. It was an all inclusive for 49 bucks per person with all you can order from their menu (great food) and all you can drink (alcohol included). You had your own shaded palapa with 2 chairs right on the beach...beautiful view!!! There was a pool and hot tub right beside the beach with a swm up bar----very nice!! There was a tent set up on the beach for massages...I think they were $45 and $65. They offered snorkling for extra $35 which went to 2 different reefs and some other things. All we did was enjoy the beach and it was perfect---absolutely perfect.

We look forward to visiting Cozumel again just to do this same excursion.

We booked online----we gave a $20 deposit and paid the rest in cash once we got there. If in the event your ship cannot port in Cozumel they will refund your money. We took a taxi from the pier---$15 each way.

Have fun--

Tracey
