To cold in january 4 cave tubing???

Last time I went cave tubing in belize it was in January. It was cold, but def not too cold. The water was a bit cold, and the caves were a bit cold, but that is because they never see the sun. Once you were outside again, it was very warm. So to answer your question, yes its a little chilly, but def not too cold.

Most guides will suggest you wear a T shirt so as to retain heat.... it works and YES it is colder than normal when you are in the caves due to -0- sunlight to warm the water. If it is windy it will also send goose bumps thru you as well....
