Excursions

We will be on the Carnival Imagination for 5 days starting Feb 16th and we were wondering how you go about doing 2 excursions. We are first time cruisers and want to book Stingray City but we also want to do some parisailing. Can we do both? Is there parisailing in Caymen?

Realizing that we are first timers we will more than likely be booking the stingrays through the ship.

In Feb., ship time and island time will be the same. So if you're there from say 7-4 or 4:30 or so (not sure what time you'll be in port), you should have time for both.

We always use Captain Marvin's for stingray sandbar, so you could do a morning snorkel with them, and then have them drop you at the Marriott Beach Resort where Red Sail operates.

You might check with Red Sail and find out details on the parasailing (time and location).

After parasailing, just grab a cab back to the port area.

If you have any concerns about making the first CM's snorkeling, then I'd email Joan or Ruth. They'll let you know if they think you can make it to their place on time. Feb. is a busy month there, so sometimes there are 10 ships a day...which will slow you down (getting off the ship).

If you can't do the snorkel first, do the later one with CM's and do the parasailing first. CM's will pick you up on the way to their dock. Just make sure they know what you are going to be doing. We've picked up people along the way. They'll just swing in and pick you up at the front of the Marriott.

To get to their dock, they have to go down 7MB area and they turn next to the Courtyard Marriott (near Sea Grape).
