Has anyone used Air Consolidators?

Does anyone know anything about air consolidators? Are they reputable or do you get the last seats, bumped, or low priority reservations? Their prices seem too good to be true. We are taking a transatlantic cruise and want to be able to fly from Phoenix to Barcelona and back home to Phoenix from New York on our chosen days and be able to pick 2 seats together, is it possible with this company?

When we were in the travel business we used consolidators for our clients travel all the time. A travel agent should always advise the client if a consolidator is being used. We never had a major problem with any of them, which is more than I can say for the airlines themselves.

There are some downsides that can pop up, availability or cost of making changes, seat assignments and things like that. But we never had an issue about not getting the tickets in time (some do paper tickets some do e-tiks depending on the carrier) or tickets not being honored.

We stuck with consolidators that were members of the United States Air Consolidator Association. They have a website at http://www.usaca.com/aboutusaca.cfm .

We've used consolidators in the past when flying to Europe with no problem. The travel section of mainstream newspapers usually has ads for consolidators and this is where I've found the ones we've called. One outfit was helpful in making train reservations as well.
