MSC Orchestra--any info on kids club?

We are sailing on Oct 27th with our two sons, age 5 and 8. Does anyone have information about the kids club? When is it open, what do they do? Are they open at dinner time? We asked for the early seating at dinner but how long does dinner take? Our kids are not the greatest about 2 hour dinners. Are there alternatives to the sit down dinner?

 

Can we get a babysitter in our cabin on evenings when we feel like a relaxing meal (one where we have time to actually taste our food)? Any suggestions on shore excursions? I have read the information on the ports of call and I know that my older son will love Ephesus--he loves history. Any information on the shore excursions with kids would be great. I am not a big fan of shore excursions that spend a tiny bit of time at the destination and the rest shopping.

 

Last question, can the kids wear jeans after 6 pm. The literature says no jeans after 6 but is there some leeway with little kids? I want to pack as light as possible because we have a commuter flight to London that only allows one bag per person with a weight limit.
