Best Inside cabins on the Mercury

Are some bigger than others or in a better location? I'm looking at a PNW cruise for October of 08 so most of the cabins are still available.

I believe all the insides are the same size. There are some on the Mercury that have poles running through them. I don't remember which ones.

 

We had inside cabin 9106 and thought it was a good location and it didn't have any poles in it.

I'd recommend Sky deck inside cabins. It's super quiet up there and there are few cabins on that deck which makes easy access to elevators. You're just once flight of stairs down to the buffet area too.

 

I've always had wonderful cabin attendents there too as they are also assigned to the CC & Sky suites on that deck.

Avoid the following rooms on Plaza deck, they have a pole running down the middle of the room.

 

Plaza - 5050, 5055, 5058, 5061, 5066, 5069, 5070 & 5073.

I chose cabin 9175 for our Mercury cruise next spring. It's on the Vista deck. The reason I chose this deck is that it was the only deck in which the cabins didn't have something (other than other cabins) above or below them.
