Day in Honolulu before flight home

Our cruise is still several months away, but l like to plan ahead. I'm sure this has been asked before, but I haven't been able to find any threads that discuss it. Our flight home after the cruise doesn't leave until 10:00 PM, so we'd like to do something fun that day before we fly home. I'm just wondering what we should do with our luggage that day. I thought we could rent a car, but I don't really like the idea of storing all of our stuff in the trunk. What does everyone else do?

You may want to look into the Wyland Waikiki as discussed in the thread linked below:

Apparently, you may be able to get a room for the day (up to midnight) for $99. I don't blame you for not wanting to store your luggage in the car for so long.

Another option is to sign up for a post cruise excursion. Usually, that includes storing your luggage on the bus and being dropped off at the airport. Look for options from NCL and Roberts.

We decided to do the grand finale tour with NCL. I didn't want to worry want to do if we were denied e-z fly. So this way we get to have our luggage taken care of and a ride to the airpert plus we get to see the PCC, Pearl Harbor and have dinner too.

I know there's other tours out there and even Robert's does post crruise tours.

We didn't want to worry about renting and returnng a car or driving for that matter on our last day in Hawaii.

Good luck planning

Here are a few threads which discuss various luggage options for a late flight:

Of course, the various options do change from time to time. You might want to see if your airline participates in the EZ-Fly program. Also check to see if lugagge storage at the pier is still available. (I believe you have to pick up your luggage there by 5 or 6 pm at the latest.) I do know that you can't drop your luggage at the airport early in the day because of security and safety issues. There used to be lockers at the airport, but not these days.
