How is the Dolphin Encounter in Cozumel?

We are wondering if the dolphin encounter at dolphin discovery is worth it. We can't do the royal swim because some of our kids aren't old enough so we are trying to decide if we should do the encounter. Do you really get much time w/the dolphins or is it mostly watching?
