Transportation Miami Airport to Port Everglades

DH & I are arriving in Miami the morning of our cruise in November and need to get transportation to the Port in Fort Lauderdale. If we do the tranfers it will be $56pp roundtrip and the buses start loading around 10:30am (we're arriving around 8:30am). Transfers seem pricey and we don't like to just hang around waiting and then get herded onto a bus and wait to fill it etc.... Has anyone ever taken a cab this route? If so what was the price?

Thanks.

We usually use Super Shuttle:

Once you collect your luggage, you walk outside to ground transportation, and someone will be there to call the shuttle for you. We have never had to make a reservation.

Thanks!! So is that $30 per person? Can you get the shuttle at the port when you return from the cruise to take you back to MIA?
