Inshape Posted October 6, 2007 #28 Share Posted October 6, 2007 Why then when i called Hertz they said NO shuttle. That sounds easy enough. ANd no taxi, with 4 people that would cost more than the rental car....
Inshape Posted October 6, 2007 #29 Share Posted October 6, 2007 HErtz is also double what thrifty is. I got the thrifty car for 41( full size) and the hertz same size would be 89, plus taxes.... ANyone else out here that did thrifty or avis and found that they had no issues with the shuttle or are there tons of issues????
cruisin4kicks Posted October 6, 2007 #30 Share Posted October 6, 2007 Why then when i called Hertz they said NO shuttle. That sounds easy enough. ANd no taxi, with 4 people that would cost more than the rental car....I rented a car from Hertz that we are going to use to drive back to Atlanta after the ship comes in at the port of Miami. We decided to do a road trip back to Atlanta instead of flying back. Below is the information from the Hertz web-site... Rental Services Provided By: Miami Downtown HLE, 354 SE First Street Please exit the terminal and catch the Hertz Shuttle Bus. The shuttle to the servicing location runs Wednesday through Monday, every half hour from 0800-1600. I called the downtown Miami Hertz office at 786-425-2515 and they told me a shuttle comes twice an hour to take you from the pier to their downtown office to pick up the car and it's only a 5 to 10 minute ride. I do not know anything about how crowded it will be. We will not be in any hurry because we don't have a flight to catch. This shuttle is taking you to the downtown office, NOT the airport.
