Tours in LA

We're cruising on the Golden in early November, and are doing 1 day pre and post cruise hotel stays at the Marriott @ LAX (booked thru Princess).

We are thinking we'd like to go on a partial day bus tour to see some sights of LA.

Does anyone from the LA area know if there are tour companies that pick you up at the hotel, after disembarking the ship? I've seen something for a company that does 4 hour tours in the AM, but we'd not be off the ship in time for that.

Would it be best to wait till we get to the hotel and speak with the person at the concierge desk? That's what we were thinking of doing, but if someone has any better ideas, we'd appreciate hearing then.

Try calling your hotel now and see what they offer. This way you know and can make a better decision.

THX for the suggestions. I did take an online look at the Starline Tours site and there are a couple of tours that sound good.
