Spirit Restaurants-Seating for Party of 7

We will be a party of 7, on the Spirit in December 2007. We have been reading the divergent opinions regarding Freestyle Dining, and would like to hear peoples' experiences getting a group of 7 or so seated promptly, both in the regular restaurants and in the "extra charge" restaurants. If anyone has suggestions how to make reservations, or get tables more quickly, we would welcome them. If it matters, we are in the BC category balcony cabins.

Reservations are taken for parties of 8 in the main restaurants;)

 

Specialty restaurants take a reservation for any number:)

We were a party of 7 on the Spirit last month. We never had a problem getting a table at any restaurant we never had a reservation, except for the pay venues. The wait was never more than a few minutes I think less wait than a restaurant at home.
