We will be in Grand Cayman on Nov. 8th from 7 am - 4 pm - Ideally we would like to do the following.........

1) The Trolley Tour 10 am - 11 am thru Carnival

2) Go see Hell

3) Some souvenier shopping

4) A few hours on the beach

Is all of this feasible to do in the time we are their? Can we get a taxi to Hell first thing in the morning, have them wait and bring us back for the Trolley.

We need help - i can't seem to get a handle on how far places are from each other?

We did an island tour/stingray trip. We had time to shop before and after. I think we were in port for the same time. I don't know about the trolley tour but some of the island tours with the independent operators offer you the option to be dropped at the beach. Taxi offer a fixed per person price to hell.

We took the Grand Cayman Island tour (through Carnival) - about 2.5 hours. We saw some general sites (Governor's house, etc), stopped at Hell (30 minutes), went to the turtle farm (an hour) and Tortuga Rum Company (30 minutes). It was inexpensive, we had a great tour guide, it was a small van (8 people), and a lot of fun. We had plenty of time to get lunch in town and shop, actually got back to the ship early and never felt hurried or that we missed anything. One thing to remember about Stingray City - you're NOT the only ship in port. We heard from people on our ship that it was MOBBED because there were seven ships in port when we were there.

I WAS THINKING ABOUT DOING THAT EXCURSION BECAUSE MY GRANDSON WANTS TO GO TO THE TURTLE FARM. IS 1 HR ENOUGH TIME TO SPEND THERE?
