tryinginaustin Posted October 9, 2007 #1 Share Posted October 9, 2007 We are hoping to plan a cruise this July or August with our family, brother and his and our parents. Only one of the three families has cruised before (brother). We will have lots of kids (12, 11, 9, 9, 3, and 5-6 months TBD). Any advice on where to book and how to save some dough? Thanks guys!!! <img>
JanineM Posted October 9, 2007 #2 Share Posted October 9, 2007 Unfortunately Cruise Critic does not allow us to post recommendations for travel agents or travel sites. So do some searching, comparing quotes between different sites. Each line is different, so you can't really compare lines ... it's apples to oranges. If you haven't cruised before my strongest suggestion would be to ask your brother to give you suggestions. He might even have a travel agent or line that he would recommend. If he has no particular recommendations, then start talking to friends & coworkers. Chances are good that someone is a cruise aficionado!

eandj Posted October 10, 2007 #5 Share Posted October 10, 2007 Looking at the ages of all the kids, I'd recommend Royal Carib. My family cruises which included 15 or more were with RC and everyone found something they liked. They have a great kids program and so much to do especially on their newer "monster" ships. Lots of nightlife and entertainment for the adults.
