Platinum Latitudes and 1-Nighters

We were on the Spirit one nighter 9/22. No Platinum latitudes benefits, nor is there a Latitudes party.

The only thing on that score was the Latitudes boarding in NYC. We got there early enough to do the early check-in and then sat upstairs. When we were cleared to proceed, we just got right on the ship! Unbelievable embarkation.

On disembarkation, we just left at our leisure around 8:30. No muss, no fuss and no crowds. Right into a cab after that.

Have fun. We had a ball.

John,

We got there just after 11 am and they were still doing the earlybird checkin. Around 11:15 am they moved the tables and computers to the other side of security.

We sat upstairs till around 11:35 am and then they brought us downstairs to be the first group onboard (ahead of all the people sitting in the big hall in chairs). If you miss early checkin, you simply do it on the other side of security, but since we already had our room cards in hand we just zipped right by.

It was so fast that we actually had to wait about 10 mins. for Windows restaurant to open! Unless you're wild about buffets, avoid everyone urging you up to deck 12 Raffles and head for Windows instead for a nice sitdown lunch.:D

Keep in mind that the halls to the cabins are closed until around 2 pm, so if you go to the buffet you will carry your stuff with you.

No muster drill, so you have the rest of the afternoon to explore. We hit the "current" pool in the Aquaspa as it was raining out so couldn't really use the pool outside.

Duty free liquor, etc., too, so get there early.;):D
