Cruise to Nowhere/Miracle questions

I'm taking a 2 day cruise to nowhere from NYC next week to try out Carnival Miracle. Anybody know what the activites are like in one day? Is there a Captain party/ a Gala Buffet/ Shows? What can I expect to make the most of the one day at sea?

Hi I took the CTN last year on the Legend (sister ship)...Also did an 8 night on the Miracle this year.

 

There won't be a captain's party or a gala buffet but the 2nd/last night is formal night. There will be shows on both nights. The casino and shops will be open also. The pools will be open if the weather permits.

 

You will have a great time but it's just way too short.

I started a thread a month or so ago on this very topic. I too am taking that trip. Do a search on it, there was a lot of useful information that members offered.
