[Beyondships]

During a transatlantic last summer, I had the opportunity to talk with Giancarlo Impiglia whose commissioned paintings are on QE2 and on QM2 and will be on Queen Victoria. They include the large murals near the Lido and the Pavilion and the large paintings on the stairways near the Royal Court. Anyway, I thought I would share his comments and a few photos.

I love the picture/mural on the back wall of the Lido on the starboard side as you enter. I can look at it for ages.

You have reminded me that someone around here had started work on a painting (QM2?) and gave us a few sneak previews.....which started a funnel colour (color) debate. Was it ever finished? Anyone know?
