Norwegian Pearl

We are lovers of Carnival but we are thinking of trying the Norwegian Pearl. Has anyone ever cruised on this ship? What are your thoughts. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

We were just on the Norwegian Pearl this past May. It was in Alaska though. I can't do a comparison to Carnival as I have never been on Carnival before. We do have a Carnival cruise booked for next summer and we're so excited to try this cruise line. As for the Pearl-she is a new ship. We loved being on the Pearl. We love Freestyle cruising as well. We found everything to be clean, the service was good and the 13 different dining venues were exceptional. NCL doesn't have formal nights as most do. Instead, they have "dress up or not nights".

 

The Pearl really is a beautiful ship. You may find the decor not as snazzy as on Carnival, but it's colorful and well done. We greatly enjoyed our cruise and would love to sail the Pearl again. If you have any specific questions-ask. I'll be glad to help.
