MIA Van sized Taxis

I am looking to estimate the costs for a group of 6 cruising out of MIA in December.

 

If we fly into MIA and stay at the Intercontinental Miami precruise, what transportation options are available from MIA to the hotel? I was wondering if they had the minivan sized taxicabs available and are they extra? I see in past posts it is a $24 flat fee for a taxi to the hotel.

I paid $10 from the downtown Hyatt to the port in a van taxi and $25 from the port to MIA in a van taxi. Tip was on top of that amount. We did have 4 people though but could have fit more people and luggage. They were also readily available at both locations.

The flat fee of $24 is from MIA to Port of Miami. The fare from MIA to downtown Miami is a metered fare and usually is less then the fare to the port. There are plenty of minivans, full size vans and suburbans available all charge the same fare as a sedan..
